i installed my new dual roller chain and now im getting a grinding sound. i think it might be the chain grinding on the inside of the cover or it might be off alignment, the car is running perfect now besides that
Two things it could be, did you retain the oil slinger??
The dual roller might be hitting the front of the oil pan just below the sealing lip. I have seen this problem on some of the repo pans.
Strange but like was said maybe grinding into something T.C. or pan so now has clearanced itself. You might drain the oil and see if you have any metal in the pan and if so what kind Alum or steel.
