I'm almost embarassed to ask, but which side sits against the block: the alluminum foil shiny side or the dull gsket side?

It only bolts up one way.

if it only bolted up one way, even I wouldn't have asked! This is a 3-piece gasket set for the FSPP header. By flipping and rotating the pieces, the bolt holes will line up either way.

My mistake. I just realized that only the outter two sections are reversable. The middle section WILL in fact only bolt up one way...alluminum foil side out (against the header).

Is the 3-4 ports bolts that will guide you....
