I have been running my Offy setup on a daily driver for about a year. I have had no trouble keeping the carbs in sync, and have fiddled with them very little. I'm using 3 Holley 1909s from a 62 170. I keep the idle mixture screws all the way closed on the outer carbs, and I'm getting 21 MPG with the stock 2.77 three speed. I'm expecting close to 30 once I get the T-5 installed. I have had no stiff throttle problems as others have reported, the thing sits and idles ad 800 RPM, starts easy, and runs great. I haven't had any trouble with it, and would recommend it to anyone...I think I may be the only one running 1909's, but I love them.....

nope...no carbs but the one I have on the intake now....wasnt sure which one to use.... I have acces to a local salvage yard that has literally Hundreds of these older cars in it....

Three smaller ones will be MUCH easier to tune and have better drivability than three large ones.
