on trip carb set up center hole is larger then carb

I have the trip carb set up from offy and after trying to install my webers on i noticed that the center hole on the offy part is much bigger then the then that of the carbs. The ends are perfect, but not the center. Should i be concerned or just bolt it on since it make a seal?
