Ok, I did a bit of soul searching after I posted an add to sell me entire 6 setup including the T-5. I looked at a ton of options to put an 8 in it, but I think that the 6 is just too cool to play with now there are so many parts.
Here's my plan for the engine. Let me know what your advice might be.
Replace stock head with CI aluminum head, intake and headers. I'll probably keep the 38/38 DGES for the time being. I'm not sure about the rockers. It will be a daily driver, I need some suggestions.

Use the orld Duraspark setup.
I have a 4-row radiator with an electric fan setup.
I already have suspension, T5 and rear end finished as well as brakes. The car is actually stripped and sitting in the garage now waiting for some body work. I rented a soda blaster....it is the coolest thing ever! Takes off paint, doesn't hurt glass, removes old tint and polishes chrome.
