i got my port divider and i was wondering, since i have an extra head could i get it to fit in that head then install it in the head that's in the car.

the reason i want to do that is b/c i really don't have that much time and in my free time i was going to get it to fit right then install it once i got my header.

the port divider reguires epoxy, or brazing, if you install it in one i doubt you'd be able to get it in another

Chances are if you custom grind it to fit one head, it will not fit perfectly in another. And as has been said before, you should affix it securely, which precludes simply plugging it into another head later.

yeah, once i put it in one head i don't plan on it coming out, i was talking about all the grinding i'm going to have to do. i wanted to grind it to fit in my extra head and hopefully it'd fit in the other one, or should i just put the car out of comission for a couple days and grind it to fit the one in the car.

like Steve said, if it was fitted to another head, it might not fit right in the other head
i'd just put it out of commision
