swapping 75' maverick 250 into 66 stang.

I've been offered a complete motor, air cleaner to mounts for $125, what else will I need to pull out of the maverick?

i'm planning to use a t-5, so will not need the tranny.

8) grab the frame mounts as well. you will also need a V8 bellhousing. you can use one from a 5.0 mustang and you wont need an adaptor for the trans, and you can use a cbale clutch as well.

The mounts won't do you a lot of good since the frame is drilled differently on a Maverick, but grab them anyway.

If it's complete, you should be pretty well set.

Jack is right, the Mav's engine mounts won't work. When I swapped a 250 from a Maverick into my '66, I ended up slotting the engine mounts from my Mustang for use with the 250. They work fine.
