transmission leak?

Today as i was walking back to my car i found a puddle of red liquid under my car. I looked under it and found that it was transmission fluid. Now the thing is it's not leaking from my transmission it's leaking from somewhere by the driver side tire. Anyone know what may be causing this and what kind of repairs are in order to fix it.

Do you have power Steering? It might be from the power steering control valve or the ram. Most of the time it is the cap on the control valve.

Check if its coming from the speedometer cable which runs close to the lf tire. I had to replace my original speedometer cable because the old one dripped ATF from the left front area of the vehicle. William
