My FiTech has been acting funny. So I was checking around and look what I found. What do you think could have caused this?

Finally took it apart. My carb gasket didn't look to good either. When I removed the intake the gasket just fell apart. But, it did look good around the ports. Just cleaned everything up with water and will put it back together.

Marco, did you check all flat surfaces for warpage?

Yup, I checked for warpage with a straight edge and a flashlight. All good.

There was a huge vacuum leak. That first gasket was just torn in two. 91 Octane Califonia gas. Lol. The FiTech was over compensating and brining up the idle. It runs so much better now at idle. Even got the rpms down to 850 from 900. Tomorrow I will take it for a drive.

What type cam & rockers are you useing with your CI head? Also did you have any issues with the install ?
I'm asking because I have to quit stalling & install mine when I get past the it don't run now with the new Hyper Spark dist.
