waste gate and Blow off valve

I am at the point were I need a wastegate and blowoff valve and see a lot of them on e-bay but don't know it they are any good. I also looked on the summitt online catalog and they also sell that but are more expensive. Can anyone recommed a good source for a wastegate and blowoff valves and what brand is recommended?

Bob,
Ebay will almost always have the cheapest ones.

I've used the Tial and a couple from Turbonetics will good success. I'd recommend those.

As for BOVs I've only used the TurboXS ones. They are kinda "ricey" looking , but they work very well.

If you can get any of these new for less than $200 each, then you're doing pretty good!

I went with the cheapest blow off valve I could find on ebay. Its a greddy type S knockoff and supposedly its the exact same thing as the real one. I never had any problems with it, and I ran an internal wastegate so cant help you there. Goto blowoffvalves.com and you can hear soundclips of alot of them if that means anything to you.

there is a seller on ebay making Tial knock off 38mm wastegates for about $70 I think it was. I have a knock of greddy and the valve itselfis fine but the bolts and fittings are LOW grade steel and snapped off like nothing (allen screws broke off using the short end of an L wrench) so if you bought one I would change out the hardware on it for known good parts. the nice thing is since they are knock offs they interchange with the real thing. once you fab up the installation and find out they don't work or find a good deal it is just a simple bolt on upgrade.
