1992 300??

i have a 92 f150 with the 300 straight six! 5spd...can i do the mega squart on it?....and how much power am i looking to get out of this thing if i do it? thanks jeff

Yes you can convert to Mega-Squirt.
You will gain virtually no power unless you make other modifications. You need to increase the airflow through the engine in order to make more power, the EFI system merely provides more fuel to maintain the correct fuel:air ratios required by the new mods. The virtue of the MS system is that it is easily tunable and readily supports modifications which the stock EEC-IV is not and does not.

nothing wrong with the intake of EFI systems, at least not until you start actually building the engine to make power
you'd have to change the cam at the least to need to mess with the intake

Other than a better exhaust all the bolt-on crap that you read about in the gearhead magazines is 99% USELESS. To make more power you have to get more fuel:air mixture into the engine. That means headwork, camshaft, higher compression.
