Ok I mounted my weber(Holley/webber) on my 67 mustang yesterday with intent on modifying my linkage using as much factory set up as possible and still keeping my auto kick down functional with it.
It was not feasable in the time window I had and it is not the way to go I have decided.
Instead I am going cable throttle.
I do not need to keep kickdown, I can always downshift, but it would be nice.
My question is what is the best car to scrounge from? I know I want every part from foot pedal forward. any advice frome your experiences is appreciated!
I have drilled the adapter per the ford base, so carb sits lower and fuel bowl is proper. It still does not look like alot of height room any air cleaner suggestion while we are at it?
For the moment I have gone back to my 1 bbl.
Thanks
Tim
