I'm looking for a fan setup for the 250. The 170/200 fans I have use a smaller bolt pattern on the WP.

There is one on E-Buy I think might fit. 'Was wondering why they have staggered blades?. Is this to quiet them or is it a balance thing ?.

I probablky will need an electric fan as the 250 is going in a '61 so 'Id like to hear how sensor hookup has been done. The Clifford 250 has a threaded port in the top hose neck on the radiator side of the thermostat. Can this be used for the sensor?..

8) staggered blades are quieter than nonstaggered fan blades.

you can use the threaded port on the outlet housing for a thermostatic fan control no problem.

The 250 is longer than the 170-200 that came in your car. So fan selection will be difficult. Your waterpump pulley bolts will be almost touching the radiator when installed. Probably less than an inch of room up there.
If your motor is still on a stand then I'd install it first and then try to find a fan that'll fit.

I had a very narrow aftermarket fan that barely fit with the 2 row rad, but had no room when I went with a 3 row rad. So I now have 14 inch pusher fan mounted in front- did require slight timming of the vetical hood support. I have the Temp sensor switch mounted in the lower hose by "T"ing into a threaded "T" shaped pipe fitting witha reducer. One day I will use the blind port on the top of the T-stat. My setup works just fine with an adjustable temp trigger control switch.

Good luck!
