What I've read is that the fan is more efficient as a puller versus a pusher. A fan will draw more of the rated air flow thru the radiator than push it though. It makes sense to me. A a pusher, some of the air is blocked or deflected back then it hits the radiator, etc. As a puller it can only get air from one place; that's thru the radiator. I'm sure someone has done research or has test results. Maybe search the internet to verify?
