Fan shroud for 62 ?????

Was there ever a fan shroud for the 62 fairlane with 170? If so does anyone reproduce them now or know where I can get one.

U sure it wuz equiped w/1? Some had none, I believe.
Can't tell what state ur in, but a substitute from the junk yard could B adapted.
Length of blades & distances from there to radiator, check for mounting surface on core support.
Alternatively an electric one...

Are you having temp problems, want concourse correct, finger protection, or something else?

Not sure if it had one at all. Doesnt look like it did. Just rebuilt the motor, temp gauge is running about 3/4 over towards hot. Motor has only ran about an hour. Could I expect a warmer temp on a new motor? Im in Tx. and its hitting 100 here so everything is hot regardless.

First, I wouldn't trust that gauge as more than just an indicator, it might be out of calibration even if it is new,
Second. If you have had it running under certain conditions, idle or highway, that might be expected. I believe that fairlanes rarely got shrouds if they didn't have a/c, but under that type of weather conditions, I would consider trying to add one or, if you aren't trying for concours, I would personally upgrade the radiator or fan if it will be driven in those conditions often.
