I have decided to go turbo but have one problem. I already have the engine partially rebuilt. I have installed the crank and pistons using stock dish pistons. I thought I was gonna go nautrally aspirated but changed my mind. Is this going to be a huge problem? Is the turbo gonna tear those pistons up running 8 psi?

is it a standard rebuilt engine? if the comp is around standard the 8psi should be ok, as long as the timing is spot on, and it doesnt ping.

Motown,
I agree with what TRBOXF said below.
Kelly's Falcon is running stock, cast pistons at up to 15lbs. of boost and holding up fine. HOWEVER....we're running a 50/50 or so split of race gas and 91 octane pump gas. So every tank has about 100 octane or so.
Pump gas will be fine at 10lbs. of boost. So long as you maintain a reasonable timing tune.

Yea, what they said! Keep the tune safe, use good gass, and don't get too greedy with the boost and you will be fine.
