Header to alternator clearance

Ok, so I've got the header installed on my 250 and the alternator. There is about 1/2" clearance between the two once I got the belt on and tightened the alternator down. Is this going to be a heat problem for the alternator? Or is that enough room between the two?

Thanks guys.

Btw, going to break in the cam at 11:00 CA time. I will try and get a video of it to post.

it is likely fine, but perhaps you could get a slightly different size belt to give yourself a bit of room?

"...a longer belt."
shorter?

Thats what I ended up doing.
I got a 1740 belt? I think that's the number.
It is 1" longer than the stock on for the 250.
