Is this the right spot for the vac gauge hook up?

I'm currently in the process of tuning up my motor and right now I'm on step two of Plan One Performance Upgrades in the Handbook. I have a vac gauge now but I just wanted to make sure I was hooking it up in the right place.

I was looking through some other posts on a vac related search, and came across this one..

If you scroll down to Addo's post (fifth one) he mentions a threaded hole. I looked at my engine and foward and below the carb, on the side of the intake log is a small plug. I just wanted to make sure this was the right one. Thanks.
