I got a Weber 5200 off a late 70s Fiesta. It has 2 plugs in it with wire coming out of them. One is at the fuel inlet where there are 3 lines. 1 coming in and 2 coming out. One of the outgoing is to the gas tank the other is to a plastic tank in the engine area. the plug seems to work the previous mensioned line. I assume it's for emissions. I'm planning on plugging the hole the electric valve is screwed into and putting a cap on this line.

The other plug which also has an electric valve in it goes between 2 vacuum lines. I don't know if this valve is nomally open or closed. So I'm not sure if I should block it or leave it open.

Anyone see one of these carbs before and know what to do with them?

I can see if I can find that out for you, although I do not know right off hand. I can tell you this, for your research purposes: Holley actually made the 5200 carb, and then Weber made the 32/36 carb - which is the exact same thing - I would check out the 32/36 on webber's site or call Advanced or someone and ask them about the Holley 5200 as it was stock on many cars (70's Marquis I believe - a good starter place)

The Carb has Weber in a few places on it. So would it be the 32/36 you mensioned?

OK. I found the schematic on a weber site. It's a 32/34 DFT. The first part is a return line needle valve. The sencond part is the Idle cut off solenoid. The first one I plan on just plugging. I don't see a need for 2 return lines. I may block both return lines. The second part I'm still not sure what to do about. I guess I will try running power to it to see if it is in or out when the power is turned on.
