you need a crossflow gear don’t you? Crow Cams in Aus maybe
To my knowledge, the distributor gears are the same between us, an Aussie engines. Obviously since the only place in the civilized world that makes a roller cam for my cast iron, six hole relic would probably be my best choice for the gear. Since Tigue is making the cam, what are the odds they offer a bronze gear(s) to compliment?

might be easier for them to get the gear then ship with camshaft, they are 1.45 hours from me lol

Dean Tigue just emailed me a progress update ( cam is currently undergoing heat treating) has bronze gears that he can include in my shipment for 90.00 ea. (I had him send me two) Said the cam will be done and ready for shipping this Tuesday.

As easy as the next guy I guess. I contacted several AU cam grinders via email when initially trying to source the roller, none replied.
I had to call Crow, Kelford, and Tigue to see if they had even received anything from me. Crow had to look for me, and during my first go around w/ them when I was looking at a flat tappet it took several attempts just for them to get me a price. The deal breaker w/ Crow was they didn't accept MC/Visa/Paypal. They wanted me to do an international bank wire transfer to pay them with, a fee that added another 60-70.00 to the price.
Kelford was just too high even for a flat tappet, and said they could not do a roller.
Tigue had to be contacted as well to follow up my email inquiry. The difference was the guy I talked with had seen the email and was at least partially familiar w/ my specs. A few days later, I had three grinds to choose from, 7 days later he was in process of building the cam,( with no money upfront from me I might add) by next Tuesday, it's supposed to be ready to ship.
So, all things considered,....I think he's pretty speedy.
As a comparison, Crane US was going to take 6-8 weeks to do the same thing, at twice the cost, and the "expert tech guy" @ Comp cams told me that a one off, custom billet roller for an obscure engine like mine would cost $7-10,000.00 to do. And that's after I told him Crane quoted it @ $1100.00.
(For that reason alone, I almost hate that I have to use Comp lifters in the engine)

test em out for us Mike!
We're all rootin 4 ya...

(no plasma cutter?)

I have found Clive Cams easy to do with, they finished Robs semi finished roller from Tighe from memory, i have a cam i am ordering from Tighe for the 200, its the speedway grind, maybe a bit big at 240@50 but the lift is 445, another Clive cam i am considering is the 409 grind, its 230 odd @50, both are hyd's
