We got our stock A/C parts for my 66 200 six. But we want to get the dual headers, we know there has to be some modifications done to the bracketry. but before we buy them, we would like to know what kind of mods there would have to be done to the brackets or headers. Is it ver difficult?

I can send you pics of mine, but I have the modern Sanden style compressor, not the old style one.. So I don't know how much help it will be.

Hows about this?

If you are have a Sanden style compressor or are considering converting to one, he provided a link to the place that he bought that one. He had to build those extensions that move the lower alternator mounting bolt farther away from the header.

We have mine being all cleaned up right now so I don't have a picture of "mine". But it is the stock A/C stuff from 66'. The compressor looks like a Briggs & Stratton engine if that helps. :D

The "stock" compressor is commonly known as a "York" compressor. Hopefully somebody on here has a picture of a stock one. (I don't)

There, all I needed was the name then I could find a great picture of it. :)

Now with that compressor and the enormous mounting bracket for that and the alternator would dual headers fit?

The video does not work from mobile devices. This picture shows you the extent of his engineering....

He made spacers for the lower attachment bolts, and a new plate to bolt between the engine and the AC bracket toward the top. He spaced everything out 1 3/8"
