Weber 32 36 Carb

It took me awhile but I finally found the thumbnail page I have put together some time ago showing my DizzyII, 32/36 and header install. If you look through the thumbnails you will see the modified Throttle Rod and how the 32/36 DFV throttle is actually in the same location as the stock carb. All that is needed with the DFV carb is a change of throttle lever from Pierce Manifolds and an extended connecting rod.

I hope this helps some, Ric.

I don't know my mileage yet (not road worthy) but I can imagine it won't be all that great. Currently my YF is running too rich. And there isn't much I can do to correct this problem - except a carburetor swap!

Why don't you just do a carb swap from a ' 73-'74 240 inline 6? Cheap, available, and is best all around perf./econo. carb that doesn't need too much adjustment (at sea level). This is from Ak Miller in "Horsing around with the Mustang 200". I will do it when my carb cuts out finally.

Mustangaroo-

What was your engine configuration with the 5200? I know you have an Oz-head. What valve sizes, porting (or not), headers (or not)?

How difficult is it to tune the 5200 once you get it installed? Jet availability, etc?

Budget has put the EFI and induction plans on hold indefinitely.

I'm looking at a used Holley 2300 350cfm for my mildly modified -- what do the list numbers tell one about the carb? For example, the used one I'm looking at has these numbers: List-7448, 0950

cfmustang, I'd like to see a pic of that Clifford linkage to see what it looks like and if it would work for me. Can you post something?

Here is an earlier (somewhat off-center) picture. If that does not help, let me know and I will take another.

Since Clifford doesn't post pictures of the linkage on their web site, this was very helpful cfmustang, thanks. So was this their #08-2000 Linkage Kit Extends your linkage to fit Weber carb. * 1960-67? Or their #08-2001 Linkage *1968-up? And did the multi-hole part on the carb come with it?

Thanks, Scott

The picture that cfmustang is showing the correct way to go if you have a 65-66 Mustang your 68 linkage is compley different and his fix wont even come close to working on your Mustang.

Thanks guys. I don't have any stock linkage setups anyway- I've got cable linkage on my 68 and modified later model mechanical linkage on my 65 Ranchero. But since Clifford is so poor about showing you exactly what you get for your money, I was curious.
