Installed new cam, Fired it up last night with new battery. I was surprised that it was not as rough idling as I thought it would be. 200 rpm seems to make all the difference at 800rpm its rough and irregular (not like I imagined lopey would be?). But increase it just 200 rpm to 1000 rpm and almost all the roughness is gone.
Ill re-register it today and take it for a spin tonight.
If this is what a lopey idle sounds something like I think I would prefer not to have it at all and idle a bit higher (1000rpm) (besides at 800 it rattles my exhaust on the underside of the car).
Anyone else with similar experience?
