An interesting thread. Two points:
1. It's all bench racing without dyno results and/or before and after ET slips.
2. The exhaust is part of a larger system. If the manifold/exhaust is a bottleneck, removing the bottleneck will likely improve performance. If you have a large-log head with bigger valves, will the new exhaust/headers help take advantage of the improved airflow through the head? There are lots of variables. See item 1 above.
