Hi Marco, our new site member Clochardd68 from the UK, mentioned in his first post below that he had gotten one (HEI) don't think he has installed yet though. They are a great concept and I like the looks of the smallest one. Best of luck

Hello, I'm currently working on my 68 small log head. First, I just wanted to state that I am fully aware that the small log head isn't worth porting/upgrading/throwing money at it, that the large log or aluminum or OZ 2V would be better choices. Two things make it hard for me to upgrade to one...

Bubba is right, I bought the HEI distributor but haven't installed it yet. And I won't be able to test it before spring...
What I can tell you is that the support and shipping was fast. You get a very detailed manual, it seems to me that the manual covers all necessary subjects, but again as I haven't run the distributor yet I cannot say if everything is covered by it.
On the outside, in my opinion the assembly looks exactly the same as the crt-distributor I got off ebay. I filed the gear on the crt to check if it is cast iron (which it is), and the progression ignition seems to have the same cast iron gear. If I remember correctly, he even states on the homepage that all his gears are guaranteed cast iron, not sure though...
And also interesting is the distributor clears my stock power steering pump, I thought I had to cut the bracket but luckily didn't have to.
