Tandem Cooling fans for a 67 Mustang

Years ago there was a post where 1996-?? Nissen Cooling fans can be mounted as a puller being thin enough to clear the 200 water pump.
Was it a Sentra-Altima??
I presently have a single pusher & it barely can keep up with cooling with temps over 90.

I found that a 94 nissan maxima radiator fits nicely if the radiator support is oppened up a bit, i found mine in a junk yard. i used some cheep 14" ebay fans one on the outside pushing and one on the inside pulling. it worked very good until one of the fans burnt out, now i run a 2 x 10" puller fan setup, its not as good as my old fan setup.

I've got one that's waiting to go in the Fairmont if I ever get around to it... :|

I've been reading good things about a Volvo fan swap.
Volvo Fan Swap ( Taurus fan swap ) - The right way.

May be something you want to look into, apparently the same electric motors as the Taurus fans, but with better/thinner packaging.
