I ttt a thread down below that shows the 12% larger 250 pump on a 200. There is no high volume or high pressure pump for the 200. Sometimes you can get a few extra pounds if you shim the spring. Best thing is to use the 250 pump with a larger 302 performance pickup moded to fit. to mount the 250 you have to slot the pump holes and drill and tap a new hole forward of 200 on the block, there is not much room, pan needs a bump out and pump needs trimming at the rail, the oil passages as you can see on the sawed off pump flanges need porting for flow. Drive will need to be shortened.
The adapter fixes a lot sketchy of stuff. The alinement sleeve can be pushed out of an old pump easily and be used on the new adapter. I made this one taller than I needed but the block of AL I had was already parallel but it is hard to make short because everything is to close to make work easily, there is probably a way, but I wanted to lower the pan to get oil away from crank. This adapter is very stout and is larger than the pump for more stability at the block. The pan depth at the pump and pickup will need to be deeper. What is nice about the adapter is no mods to block so I can move to another block with no mods, just bolt on.
