That's what I was wondering about, the base dimensions. If it's a 2-barrel, it's going to need some kind of adapter for the small and large log unless one is going to mill the log and do a direct mount.Looks good. New and US made so that is a plus. I did not see dimensions on their site like the base dimensions and height which could be relevant info.

BIG97 Primary carburetor

Actually, we just read that all Stromberg carburetors might be at 1.5” of vacuum instead of 3” of vacuum. If that is the case. Then the Big97 might flow about the same as the Holley 350. I’m looking into it.
That guy has a lot nice items in his catalog. You can check out this site. Less than 10 min from me. He knows his carbs. No show room. Works out of a building on his property. He has been doing it a long time. He did some plating for my tri- power and chrome intake for my FE. He does the shows at Daytona. He does a lot online as well.

Here is an update to my original post topic. I checked the cam degree today. The intake LC is 117.875 degrees. The cam card states it should be 108 degrees. I have ordered the JPP adjustable timing chain kit.Looks like a nice place.
Thanks for posting!

I hope!Whoa!! That sounds like a lot to me!! H to ou should have a noticeable difference![]()
It’s a reground original 60s cam so the company is the probable culprit. Like everyone says, degree the cam!We know the the HSC rod is longer than what Ford says it is, I wonder if the Ford spec. for the small six cam is wrong, and the company's making the cam, make them to the wrong spec.. That is the only way I can think that this happens, and it has been like this for a very long time.
Don’t know how that got there from “ you”H to ou should have a noticeable difference![]()
Advanced will increase compression slightly, that would be my vote at your altitude.Yes, I will have two close options. I can go 1* advanced at 107* or 2* retarded at 110*. Maybe I can get a recommendation. I’m at 5500’ altitude if that helps.
Thanks everyone! At your elevation I would go with the 107
